Drug Rehabilitation and Alcohol Rehabilitation

By the time you get to this website, you have probably been completely frustrated at trying to find the right drug rehabilitation or alcohol rehabilitation services. The right treatment services are out there but they are so hard to find. You cannot tell what a rehab clinic or detox unit is like from their website or, indeed, from the prices they charge – most rehab clinics do not even publish their detox and rehab treatment rates.

That’s where ADMIT comes in. I have done the leg work for you.

I visit as many drug and alcohol treatment clinics around the UK as I can and assess them from a number of viewpoints. I look at the:

accommodation Drug Rehabilitation and Alcohol Rehabilitation
  amenities
  culture of the clinic
  attitudes of the staff
  clientèle
and many other things like use of mobile phones, pay phones, internet access, laptop use, food, furnishings, admission procedures, visiting arrangements, health and safety regulations and location.

Whilst these may not all be important to you, it is likely that you will want to know the answers to some of these questions. I also take an addiction specialist with me – either an addiction psychiatrist or senior addiction counsellor. They look at the staff qualifications, therapeutic procedures and medical cover.

I only use private drug rehabilitation and alcohol rehabilitation clinics because when the client is ready to go in they want to go in immediately and not spend months on a NHS waiting list.

Having established that a drug rehab or alcohol rehab clinic or detox unit is suitable for ‘recovery’ and worth recommending to ADMIT Services’ clients, I make a point of revisiting the clinic at least every 6 months to ensure standards are being maintained.

In July 05, I visited one rehab clinic that had previously set very high standards only to find that they had secured a local authority contract for taking in young offenders who otherwise would have been sent to prison. These largely under-21 year olds have very little interest in getting into ‘recovery’; they are often just avoiding the rigours of prison. They can be very disruptive to others who are paying for their treatment and really want to get well. I also rely heavily on feedback from my clients after treatment.

The drug rehabilitation and alcohol rehabilitation clinics cover our costs by paying ADMIT a commission on every client introduced:
  • You do not pay any more by using ADMIT Services.
  • We only quote the clinic's published fees.
  • We do not ask you to pay us or sell you other services that are usually provided free by the clinics such as assessments, pre-counselling or aftercare packages.

In this way, I hope you will feel confident that any clinic that ADMIT recommends is reliable and a fit place in which to get well.

ADMIT stands for Alcohol & Drugs Misuse - Independent Treatment.
You ADMIT that you have a problem and we ADMIT you.
